Independence day -the most celebrated holiday in the the US!!! And I was there.
The parade was amazing and similar to the one on St. Patrick's day.
It was nice to watch them, but we were happy not to walk with them 'cause of the weather. It was pretty hot, I guess around 38°C in the shades. Fab and I were lucky, we got a sunburn -yeah! I'm gonna miss the weather when I'm back. I mean, you can call the summer summer here with those temperatures -not less than 35°C.
Anyway, we watched the parade and then we did a little walk at the mall. There was a little folksfest as every year. But it wasn't that good. Some international food to try and some music and traditional dances of the countries which were represemted there. Best was Hungary!!!

In the evening there was a huge firework at the washington monument.
It was gorgeous!
